1)     You lend $50 to a specific person in Rwanda for six months.

2)     They use that money to help build their family business.

How Can I Plant a Seed of Hope?

1)     Click here    : Lend

2)     Pick a person you would like to lend to for six months.

3)     After six months (JULY 2008) your money is returned to you, less $10 administrative costs.

Yes, that is right…at the end of the six months (July 2008) it will have only cost you $10 to make a significant change in the life of a family trying to break out of the grip of poverty.  And God will take that small seed of faith, that microseed, and multiply its impact (Matthew 25:14-30).

If I lend $60, is that amount tax deductible?

The short answer is no.  Since you are lending $50, that amount is not a donation and cannot be considered a tax deducible donation.  However in many cases the $10 administration fee could be considered a donation.  Please consult with your tax advisor to determine how this would work in your specific situation.

If you would like your contribution to be considered tax deductible, please feel free to donate to microseeds (please see below).

If You Prefer to Donate…

You can also choose to give a tax deductable donation to microseeds.org without entering into a lending relationship, if you prefer.
